Lucie Houel
Design Engineer

Houel

Lucie Houel holds an MSc in Microengineering from EPFL Lausanne (2019) with a focus on robotics. Always interested in working within multidisciplinary teams, she got involved in the China Hardware Innovation Camp during her Master's, where she helped to develop a connected watch for autistic children. After completing her master thesis in the Self-Organizing Systems Research Group (Harvard), Lucie directly started to work for the art studio Pors&Rao in India. There, she had the opportunity to manage the robotics behind "the walking Canvas" artwork that was exhibited in 2020 (ETHZ Pavilion, Davos, WEF 2020). Lucie joined the Wyss Zurich associate project PATHOS in January 2020, where she continues her work on robotics with artists and designers.
