During the week, the children familiarise themselves with “Flexo” and get to design and program their own gripper system, fitted on the exoskeleton. They will better understand the needs of users and implement those learning in the design. At the Camps they experience the design process from an initial idea to prototyping and to a finished product. The kids even get a chance to see their product emerging from the 3D printer.
Experts from the field of research and CYBATHLON @school ambassadors will be on-site ready to give tips and tricks. The goal is to make sure they really get a feel for what inclusion really means. On the final day, the young engineers will compete and test their own designs - just like in a real CYBATHLON!
Camps are for: 11 to 15 year old youngsters
When: 13th to 16th October 2020
Where: Innovationpark Zurich
For adults, families and everyone interested in robotics: mint & pepper invites everyone to join them on October 16th, 2020, to experience the young participants' achievements of the week, and cheer them on during the competition.
On the mint & pepper website you can register your children and find more information about two weeks of camps taking place in the Children Village Pestalozzi in Trogen and at the Innovationpark Zurich.
